I am joined this week by Becky Carlton. Becky is responsible for strategy and partnerships at MAPSA, Michigan's charter school association. MAPSA is a nonprofit membership organization that advocates for 300 charter schools in the state of Michigan, and Becky describes her work as ensuring that internal strategies and programming align with member needs. She also actively looks to connect with external partners for the benefit of members. MAPSA has done a lot of work over the past year to build new ways for members to interact and get support, which is something that is so clearly important for all of us to do as membership builders.
