Show Notes

In this week’s episode, I’d like to introduce you to my friend, Jerry Gitchel.  Jerry is the founder of Leverage Unlimited, Inc. Long before the pandemic forced all of us to starting thinking about virtual events, Jerry was producing such events and making technology work for a range of clients from fortune 500 companies to small business organizations to Solopreneurs.

I had the opportunity recently to be included as a speaker at one of Jerry’s hybrid events and I can definitely say that it felt completely different from others that I’ve experienced. This podcast conversation with Jerry is actually just one-part of what we’ll be covering this week. On Thursday of this week, Jerry will be joining me for my weekly LIVE training where I’ll be sharing how JourneyCARE can be leveraged to create intentional CAREpoints for your in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. When you’re able to do that, you elevate the attendee’s experience from one that feels merely like a transactional registration to an experience that feels like you actually care about the attendee’s needs before, during, and after the event… that’s something that Jerry models in everything that he does.

Joy has been widely recognized as a speaker, an online educator and a trusted advisor, twice winning the “Unsung Hero Award” from the National Association of Women Business Owners' Central Illinois Chapter. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Social Work with Specialization in Policy, Planning and Administration. But beyond industry experience and education…

Joy Duling is the calm voice you want to have in the room when you, your team, or your board is overwhelmed by ideas and options.

She's a trusted resource at the other end of an email or phone call who knows the answer, or can find the answer, when it's not clear what to do next in your approach.
She's a planner of systems and driver of progress that helps your organization achieve stretch goals.

She's a gifted facilitator of conversation, collaboration, and constructive growth.

And she's approachable and results-oriented,  which makes it easy to shake loose of the old and start fresh on the new.
